It’s British Heart Week from the 7th to the 15th June.

Heart disease is one of the UK’s leading diseases and it is responsible for every 1 in 4 deaths. As a rail signalling design company, we understand that working on the UK’s rail infrastructure can often entail working shifts, unsociable hours and long weekends! All of which can be stressful and can take a toll on your heart health. So, it’s important to take time out and start looking after yourself and heart by following these 7 steps:

7 STEPS TO A HEALTHY HEART

1 – Eating healthy.
2 – Being active.
3 – Staying at a healthy weight.
4 – Quit smoking and stay away from second hand smoke.
5 – Control your cholesterol & blood pressure levels.
6 – Drink alcohol in moderation.
7 – Manage your stress levels.

Your heart and body will be grateful for this!
