Balfour Beatty VINCI & Armac Group Demolish a 4,000-tonne Bridge Over the M42 😮

Being a Birmingham based firm we love nothing more than hearing good news stories about the area. Armac Group, one of the UK’s leading demolition specialists, has been working on behalf of HS2’s main works contractor Balfour Beatty VINCI demolishing a 4,000-tone bridge over the M42 motorway.

The works were required to make way for the construction of a new high-speed line across the motorway near to the Interchange Station construction site in Solihull.  The entire demolition job was completed within an amazing 52-hour window. Well done to both parties who have worked amazingly hard!
