Rahul Achieves his Principles Design Licence 👏

We’re proud to announce that Rahul has obtained his Principles Design Licence and is now qualified to take on additional signalling design responsibilities.

A Principles Design Licence holder is a highly responsible and influential position in the rail industry. Signalling Designers with this licence are not only involved in creating and approving safe and effective signalling systems but also play a crucial role in overseeing projects, ensuring compliance, and mentoring the next generation of engineers. Their work directly impacts the safety and efficiency of rail operations, making them a key figure in the industry. With his Principles Design Licence Rahul is able to:

– Develop signalling design schemes, which include designing interlocking systems, control tables, signalling layouts, and circuit plans.
– Ensure that all signalling designs comply with national and international railway standards, such as those set by the Office of Rail and Road (ORR) or Network Rail.
– Review and modify existing signalling systems, incorporating new technology or changes in railway operations. Which may involve re-designing parts of the system to improve performance or safety.
– that any modifications are seamlessly integrated into the existing railway infrastructure without compromising safety or efficiency.
– Oversee the implementation of quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in signalling design and execution.
– Reviewing and signing off signalling designs which have been created by others.
– Lead signalling design projects and ensure that all projects are delivered to the required standards and timelines.

Well done Rahul the team DigiSig Rail Group Ltd are very proud of you! 🎉
