The team at Digisig Rail are delighted to announce that one of its talented Signalling Design Engineers Mark Earl has been awarded his IRSE Railway Signal Engineers 1.1.550V.6 Principles Design License.
The IRSE operates a competence certification scheme to provide assurance about the competence of individuals to carry out technical safety-critical or safety-related work on signalling and railway telecommunications equipment and systems. It provides a cross industry accepted benchmark of competence for personnel carrying out a range of activities from maintenance through design, installation, testing, project and senior technical engineering.
Mark has 17+ years’ experience of Railway Signalling Design Delivery. “he joined the Railway Signalling industry as a Trainee Signalling Designer in February 2005. The trainee program was developed alongside Signet Solutions Ltd to provide the best courses and experience through secondments in to associated disciplines to produce well rounded designers with real life experience and appreciation for railway signalling and design. My preliminary experience was trackside design but over the last 8 years has been principles experience varying from Control Tables, Computer Based Interlockings (Westlock) and GRIP 3 and schemes development design.”
